Character Animation

DoubleJump Interchange is a cloud-based ecosystem collaboration platform that securely integrates data from clinical and real-world sources to facilitate cooperation among researchers and care providers to improve consumer health. With only 2 months from idea and implementation to delivery, the project had to be managed quickly and efficiently.

Strategy

We implemented a storybook theme to this production. The illustrations, textures, and animation all work together with this idea in mind. The viewer is brought through a story arc, where they are portrayed as the main character who can seize their sought-after happy ending through the help of STORRIE Institute.

Research & Script

Before we begin on any project, a research phase takes place. During this time we set out to identify our client's target audience and collect facts. STORRIE Institute had a great solution to burnt-out medical workers, so a large portion of our research focused on learning about these worker's pain points, key words they use, and what they wish to achieve if they can be given real work-life balance. From there, we form the script.

Storyboard

Once the script is approved, we move on to creating a storyboard to give the client a visual presentation of how the animation will play out.

Production

Once the visuals are agreed upon, we move into production mode. This phase of the process starts with creating all the visual assets in Photoshop and Illustrator to make them animation-ready. Once the assets are completed, they are migrated into animation software and brought to life.
